The successful candidate will independently lead all cost analysis tasks for any program including, but not limited to, tracking tasks that directly impact the Division schedule, identifying programmatic cost issues and developing recommendations to facilitate issue resolution, supporting meetings, developing, preparing and coordinating acquisition cost reports (Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR), System Metric Reporting Tool (SMART), Integrated Budget Documentation and Execution System (IDECS), Centralized Access for Data Exchange (CAFDEx), correspondence, briefings, plans and other information to support the acquisition process.
Education/Experience: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics, or other related degree with a least 24 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, which includes three (3) semester hours of Calculus is required. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Department of Defense cost estimating (excluding Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and cost performance report analysis experience), with a minimum of ten (10) years DoD acquisition experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be highly proficient in the use of cost estimating tools: Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACE-IT), Program Office Support Tool (POST), the statistical analysis package CO$TAT, Excel, PowerPoint, and be able to use these tools to estimate and document costs and methodologies for development, procurement and sustainment for any acquisition effort. Must be highly proficient in the development of Business Case Analyses, Economic Analyses, Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD) documents and Clinger-Cohen Act documents.
