American Airlines, Inc. has multiple openings for a Senior Developer, IT Applications to perform the following duties: Responsible for developing business process automation solutions for the American Airlines Information Technology department with primary focus on Envoy Air & Regional Carriers. Utilize object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test software systems. Analyze system requirements and design and document solutions using enterprise approved tools. Provide support services for the business process automation enterprise. Collaborate with business experts to capture business requirements. Translate business requirements into solutions that are effective and efficient. Interface with subject-matter experts in Maintenance, Finance, Customer Service, Human Resources, Safety Management System and Flight/Service to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements. Develop, analyze, and maintain existing SharePoint sites and update views, lists, and site pages. Build Forms and Workflows that are compatible across both Web and mobile devices. Collaborate with Web Service developers, DBA’s, and other technical resources for the development and maintenance of business automation solutions. Participate in all stages of the IT life cycle including maintenance and support. Provide project development, maintenance, and support services. Create user training procedures and support user ad-hoc requests.

Job Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, business administration, or related field, plus 3 years in applications development and demonstrated experience in: Development of Business Automation processes using SharePoint Technologies including SharePoint Designer Workflow and InfoPath, jQuery, Object Model and JSOM (JavaScript Object Model), Building and deploying iOS mobile applications using Xcode, Objective C and Swift, ASP.Net web application development using C#, Web Service integration using REST API, Agile development methodology, Object Oriented Programming concepts, Create use cases from Business Requirements, Airline experience with safety management applications. A bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience will be accepted in the alternative.

Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F.
