Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a highly effective training and learning environment.
  • Instruction flightcrew members in the classroom, cockpit procedures trainer and flight training devices for initial, recurrent and upgrade training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable company read files, operating bulletins, manuals, regulatory guidance, and other training related material.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new or revised training systems, methods, policies, and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior FAR 121 airline training and/or flight crew experience.
  • Excellent presentation ability.
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, normal abnormal and emergency operating procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFI, CFII, and Commercial Pilot with multi-engine rating.
  • 4000 hrs. FAR 121 flight crew experience.
  • A four year degree in Education, Science, or Engineering.
  • Prior Airbus experience.
