Under direct supervision, monitors, operates, and maintains telecommunications systems and equipment in addition to troubleshooting any type of hardware or software problems to ensure that systems perform in a manner which best meets business needs and objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides troubleshooting and technical support as necessary to ensure Cisco technology solutions are properly optimized
Maintains focus on continuing education as Cisco solutions emerge. This includes renewing Cisco certifications as necessary and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate for new Cisco Technologies
On call (duty pager) and travel required as needed.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple overlapping projects
