Job Description

Bachelor’s degree plus six years’ experience directly related to role responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Directly related education, training and experience includes:

  • Experience with object-oriented programming

  • Experience with enterprise metadata services

  • Experience in developing reports based on web service and messaging components

  • Experience as a database administrator

  • Ability to grasp technology vision and roadmap, and communicate effectively with various levels within the organization

  • Minimum 3 years Genesys technical (or equivalent), hands on experience with focus on various Genesys technologies & solutions

  • Experience using Genesys 7.6 (or greater) routing tools (i.e. URS, IRD, GA, CME, Composer)

  • Demonstrated expertise developing Genesys applications in transaction routing or business process improvements environments according to Agile development methodologies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and formulate recommendations

  • Thoroughly knowledgeable and familiar with VoIP using SIP

  • Proven ability to perform and thrive in a collaborative consensus-oriented environment

  • Analysis and problem solving – demonstrated ability to recognize issues and develop effective solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years hands on programming experience in a business environment
  • Some college and/or technical school preferred in the field of computer science, programming, engineering, or business
  • Must have strong background in a variety of programming analysis and languages, i.e., PL/1, TSO/E, ISPF, OS utilities, OS JCL
  • Knowledge of relational and hierarchical data base structures
  • Knowledge of Object Technology, and 4GL languages, and personal computers
  • Advise the frameworks team of future needs and potentials for new frameworks
  • Interact with other key project designers participating in project-wide design and procedures decisions
  • Assist in defining development procedures
  • Analyze, discover, document, and communicate design options for implementing analysis specifications
  • Participate in building portions of prototypes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
