KBRwyle has a requirement for an experienced Sr. Software Test Engineer to support our operations in Pt. Mugu, CA. The candidate shall support the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Project Team (IPT) at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPS) Point Mugu, CA with systems engineering expertise for the suite of Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) mission planning software components that interface and operate with the Joint Mission Planning System-Maritime (JMPS-M) Framework as it applies to development and integration of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-Evaluating, developing and managing systems level requirements related to EA-18G in support of developing AEA mission planning, include analyzing requirements for appropriate decomposition, allocation, and traceability and document the results;
-Evaluating, developing mission planning CONOPS for NGJ integration utilizing aircrew subject matter knowledge, performing system architecture trade studies and design concepts.
-Participate in development and review of technical documentation (requirements, designs, test procedures, etc.).
The candidate will also be required to participate in review boards, status meetings, and coordinate with internal/external agencies and customers. The candidate will work within an integrated government/contractor team.
Education: A Master's Degree from an accredited institution and six (6) years of experience or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and eight (8) years of experience is required.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in developmental/operational testing, writing test procedures, and test reports is required. Experience with Microsoft Office products and working within an Integrated Product Team is required. Experience with EA systems or Fleet aircrew experience in EA-18G or EA-6B aircraft required. Experience with JMPS software is highly desired.
