* Perform and/or coordinate all development efforts of the Anaplan Center of Excellence within American Airlines Global Sales to provide analysts and account managers with a robust, innovative and well performing modeling tool

* Establish and own the development roadmap, organize and prioritize roadmap initiatives, establish a deployment cadence, evangelize the “Anaplan Way” of project management, manage CoE communications and coordinate CoE meetings

* Engage with stakeholders including business users and management, IT and joint business counterparts to understand vision, gather functional requirements and remain in close contact to clarify questions and give status updates

* Perform Level of Effort, cost/benefit and functionality/performance analyses on development initiatives and present recommendations to project sponsors

* Coordinate and conduct user training sessions and author user and developer training materials

Job Qualifications

* A four-year college degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field or equivalent experience/training

* Prior work experience (2-5 years) as an Anaplan model designer, integration experience using Anaplan Connect and/or Informatica Cloud preferred

* Satisfactory completion of all Anaplan Learning Center’s 100, 200 and 300 level courses, Master Anaplanner designation preferred

* Superior communication and interpersonal skills especially pertaining to gathering requirements from and demonstrating model development results to business stakeholders

* Excellent organizational and project management skills and dedication to results with sense of urgency

* Demonstrated success working with minimal supervision

* Knowledge of airline economics and reporting
