The Digital/Social Media Sr. Designer is responsible for the design and production of original social and digital content to build meaningful connections with Delta's customers and deliver on brand goals.

Responsibilities:
Design effective campaigns that meet brand excellence standards for social and digital channels
Iterate new design options within an established design system and create new design templates
Articulate design rationale to other team members in a concise and professional manner, and engage in giving & receiving constructive feedback.
Meet the needs of internal clients through creative brief review, ideation, layout development, copywriting and design
Conduct imagery research and photo-editing
Create finished, production-ready assets, site and app style guides and playbooks
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Prioritization, coordination and management of multiple projects and initiatives
Provide production support as needed, resizing and optimizing assets for digital application
Communicate design concepts and strategies, verbally and visually, and engage in giving & receiving constructive feedback.
Understand and translate business goals and promotions into visually compelling layouts and online user experiences.

BA/BFA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Art, or Journalism
Minimum 2 years business experience in graphic artist roles (marketing)
Ability to think creatively and relate work to internal client needs
Awareness and responsiveness to strategic issues that influence design development (e.g., functional/image criteria)
Ability to develop preliminary concepts into refined, comprehensive design solutions (e.g., graphic, environmental, retail)
Proficient in a wide range of software programs to create electronic documents that meet office production standards, specifically the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro, as well as Microsoft Powerpoint, HTML 5, and CSS.
Excellent copywriting, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, video)
