  • Design and build software sites, services, and applications
  • Help determine detailed requirements by working closely with product owners and business analysts
  • Perform code-reviews
  • Assist Quality Assurance with test design
  • Mentor other team members with design and coding best practices
  • Follow the software development process including producing design documents, performing code reviews, reviewing test documents, and participating in operational reviews

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and professional training programs.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Completed at least 1 full product release cycle
  • Expertise in implementation design including OOD
  • Expertise in C#, C++, or Java
  • Knowledge in object oriented design and service oriented architecture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certification preferred
  • Experience with any of nServiceBus, SiteCore, TFS, SQL, NoSQL, or PowerShell
  • Experience with service oriented architecture and cloud services
