Job Description The Boeing Company is currently seeking 2 highly motivated Software Engineers to join The Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) in St. Louis, MO. In this role you will be working in the Experimentation division of Phantom Works Strategy, and will develop, maintain, and integrate software solutions to meet customer requirements as well as execution of the virtual Operator-In-The-Loop simulation environment.
As a member of the software team your primary responsibilities will be developing and testing software and supporting integration and customer activities. During customer integration and simulation events you will have the opportunity to interface directly with the customer, were strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
Key skills desired: a working knowledge of C++ and Python programming and scripting languages. Other beneficial domain skills: an understanding of the Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol and Joint Tactical information Distribution System (JTIDS).

A current U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
A working knowledge of object oriented programming, C++.
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or closely related field.
Software development experience in Linux
Prior experience in modeling and simulation.
A working knowledge of Python Scripting language.
Experience with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)
Typical Education/Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
