This position offers the opportunity to support our internal software development team as we develop and maintain mission support software. As a team member, you will learn our software architecture and make software changes to fix bugs, enhance security, and develop new features. You will work within our product development and release lifecycle to debug, design, document, implement, and test Java and C++ code. You will help install and configure our software in a test environment to understand the overall system and verify proper operation.
* Troubleshoot code problems
* Design bug fixes and new features
* Write code to implement changes
* Unit test changes prior to check-in
* Configure software components
* Perform tests on software system
* Follow development and release processes
* 2 years Java and / or C++ coursework
* Java and / or C++ development should include: threading, abstract classes, interfaces, exceptions, collections
Student must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Education: Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent
