The Boeing Company seeks a Software Quality Engineer to support wholly owned subsidiary ArgonST. You will have the skills, knowledge and ability to effectively perform peer reviews, software quality audits, test witnessing, configuration management baseline reviews and software problem reporting/adjudication. As the Software Quality Engineer you should have experience conducting analyses to determine negative trends, perform root cause corrective action in response to these trends and proactively implement preventive action in an effort to continuously improve. The Software Quality Engineer will work directly with the Software Quality Engineering Lead to improve processes, measure effectiveness, capture lessons learned and ultimately, improve the quality of ArgonST's software. You should have experience working on Agile development teams, familiarity with the waterfall approach, supporting integration and test activities, and helping to deliver software capabilities on time and within budget. Industry experience with SIGINT, ELINT and COMINT technologies is preferred.
Additionally, you should have experience serving on Agile teams in various roles (e.g., scrum master, product owner, team member) and experience with industry tools to include JIRA and Confluence. The Software Quality Engineer is expected to acclimate quickly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You must be capable of working independently but under the general direction of the Software Quality Engineering Lead. Ideally, you will possess a blend of both Software Engineering experience (C, C++ or Java) and knowledge of the Quality functional discipline, along with experience working directly with DOD customers and DCMA. Knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9001 and AS9115 is a plus.
