-This requisition is for a Systems/Software Quality Engineer for the F-35 Program.
-The position will interface directly with the F-35 Quality Program Manager (QPM) and will functionally report to the Company Center of Excellence (COE) Manager.
-Responsible for software quality engineering on LM-STAR in Orlando, FL.
-S/W Quality Engineering activities include quality planning, audit conduct, reviewing CDRLs and software work products against plans, attending inspections and formal reviews, performing software verification and validation activities and certifying media and documentation produced for S/W releases.
-Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.
-Conducts software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
-Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods.
-Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
-Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
-Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
-Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
-Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
-Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
-The position will require the individual to work with the project managers, team leads, systems engineers, and configuration managers to help drive the successful implementation of projects, tasks and technical deliverables.
-The position will require the candidate to help edit test plans, initiate implementation methodologies and paradigms, and assist with the implementation/utilization of Quality Assurance across the project.
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Prior Software QA/Test experience
-Software Quality (4-5 years' required)
- Experience with JIRA, CM and Test tools
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology, C/C++ and/or ATLAS
