Jeppesen Supplier Management & Procurement is looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join our team.

As a Senior IT Sourcing Manager (level 4) you will provide oversight and management of direct and indirect suppliers and the adherence to schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance in the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management organization supporting Jeppesen procurement requirements. The Souring Manager leads negotiations of pricing and contract terms and conditions for software and cloud computing agreements. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier delivery and performance issues. Leads internal teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

Knowledge and Skills:

Recognized as a software /cloud procurement expert within the department. Serves as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.

Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements

Develop negotiation strategies and lead software contract licensing pricing and terms and conditions negotiations to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers

Develops solutions to complex IT contracting problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

Coordinate with non-US Subsidiaries and internal procurement organizations and stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met and IT software procurement strategies are integrated. Mitigates risks and issues

Develops new job practices to improve existing processes, including the deployment of strategic software supplier management and procurement strategies

Education / Experience:
Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
