General responsibilities of the position: As the Specialist, Business Development and Strategic Planning you will be responsible for the development of long-range business objectives and strategic plans by identifying strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability. You will have to conduct analysis of environment for business opportunities and surveillance of the market. You will have to evaluate and review the major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals.

Incumbent’s responsibilities will generally focus on the following:
· Mergers and Acquisitions;
· Competitive Intelligence;
· Strategic Planning.

Specific responsibilities of position: The Specialist, Business Development and Strategic Planning will work closely with all country/region managers, offset manager, M&A manager, International Trade Compliance (ITC) Managers to identify:
· Key areas of growth;
· Geopolitical landscape that could favor (or impede) P&WC;
· Product, service and support requirements in said countries/regions;
· Investments required by P&WC to penetrate these markets (offsets, in-country production, indigenization);
· Identify new business opportunities through a deep understanding of market data, mega trends and propose roadmaps to convert these opportunities into incremental sales;
· Develop a good understanding and knowledge of government regulations;
· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

Qualifications required: · Master degree with more than 15 years’ experience in International Management;
· Good understanding of Middle East and European markets;
· Experience in the aeronautic industry;
· Bilingualism (French and English) with knowledge of a third language (an asset);
· Good innovational thinking and influential skills set.
