Position Summary

The Specialist coordinates the general cleaning of the facility and assists where necessary. The Specialist manages the inventory of supplies for the office including but not limited to furniture, office supplies and break room supplies. In addition, the Specialist reports building related Facility Tickets to the building management and handles minor repairs and Facility Ticket requests.

Essential Responsibilities

*

Monitor, coordinate and assist with the general cleaning of the facility, including the restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, offices and cubical areas, hallways and corridors, elevator lobbies, and parking garage

*

Manage the inventory of office and furniture keys, organizes and provides keys during move events, opens locks when keys are forgotten, and provides additional copies of keys when lost

*

Report building related Facility Tickets to the building management and monitors progress of tickets through completion

*

Inspect and monitor the operation of the building’s central Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System and fan coils, notes and adjusts temperatures and fan operation, and reports any malfunctions to the building management

*

Handle minor repairs and facility related requests

*

Organize and provides Crewmember name tags for conference rooms, offices and cubicles system wide

*

Monitor galley, BizCenter and restroom supplies, work closing with mailroom staff and Building Management on supplies replenishment of these areas

*

Assist with moves, additions or changes to support spaces and move, add or change activities

*

Provide other assistance as necessary

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

*

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma

*

One (1) year facilities environment

*

Available for occasional overnight travel (30%)

*

Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

*

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

*

Building maintenance related experience

*

Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite

*

Proficient with Ariba Spend Management software

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*

Ability to multitask

*

Excellent time management skills

*

Regular attendance and punctuality

*

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

*

Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

*

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

*

Present for core business hours but hours may increase based on fluctuating workloads

On-call for emergencies and assist with the ECC during IROP level 3

Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. (Medium)
