Description
  • Serve as the business subject matter expert in Farelogix (FMS2) merchandising platform
  • Work closely with colleagues in Online Experience, Travel Products and Revenue Management to understand and achieve objectives for selling ancillary products online
  • Configure business rules in FMS2 to create new products and optimize existing ones
  • Work closely with IT Farelogix SME to implement, test and deploy products
  • Conduct tests on new and existing stand-alone and bundled ancillary products to improve conversion and yield
  • Develop new promotion capabilities using Farelogix platform
  • Write business requirements to specify new ancillary products or related features
  • Document problems and resolutions for future reference
Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, or Information Management
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data
  • Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong problem solving skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to simultaneously work-on and manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced start-up environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation, written & verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline experience
  • Expertise in Fare and Pricing is a plus
  • Experience in travel technologies (Airline, CRS or GDS)
  • Prior experience on the commercial side of the airline industry
