Job Description

The Specialist-Performance Data reports to the Manager-Operational Performance.  Job responsibilities include but are not limited:

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc preparation, production, dissemination of performance data.
  • Develop new reports as requested.
  • Prepare DOT reports to satisfy regulatory requirements.
  • Produce performance reports needed by Finance.
  • Troubleshoot data retrieval/capture issues.
  • Work closely with IT to maintain operational database integrity.
  • Identify and communicate performance trends to leadership.
  • Support mainline partner data requests.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Manager-Operational Performance. 


  • BA/BS college degree with a focus in airline management or quantitative analysis preferred.
  • Two or more years related airline experience.
  • Highly proficient in various Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Proficiency in Cognos and/or other data acquisition, data analysis and presentation tools.
  • Knowledge of Sabre suite of products (FT Plot, Reports, Admin, and CrewTrac), DeltaTerm.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, including ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing demands for resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of airline operational data sources and methods for data manipulation.
  • Motivation and willingness to learn new computer applications as necessary.
  • Knowledge of DOT performance reporting requirements and definitions.
