Aerospace products, services and digital environments collect millions of events per day and as a data driven company believe our data has great stories to tell us. As such, we are investing heavily in our data science capabilities and establishing a Data Science & Analytics team, chartered to build our predictive analytics capabilities to drive business efficiencies & create customer analytics offerings.
As a Senior Engagement Manager, you would be responsible for engaging business leaders across supply chain, pricing, finance & other business functions to identify opportunities where we could leverage data & advanced analytics to deliver value and enable their strategy. Working closely with the business SMEs, you will capture critical requirements, problem statement, establish project scope and deliverables. Using your expertise in data analytics and business consulting, you will convert business problems into analytics requirements for the data science teams. You will also be involved in leading complex analytics initiatives focused on building new predictive analytics capabilities that deliver customer and business value. You will lead cross functional analytics teams from project inception to analytics delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include
Lead cross functional teams to build and deliver advanced analytics solutions. Manage external partners & distributed teams to build and deliver analytics capabilities. Actively listen, understand & document spoken and unspoken business requirements & pain points & quantify value opportunity. Work with the business SMEs to Identify critical data sources and availability. Establish project charters and lead analytics projects from inception to insights delivery. Establish & execute project plans that includes analytics solutions development, validation, delivery & business value assessment.
Experiences and Characteristics we are looking for include:
Self-starter with the drive to unlock the true power of big, noisy, messy, real-world data
Demonstrable experience in taking analytics offerings to market
Ability to lead complex initiatives & get things done.
Knowledge of advanced analytics applications in industrial domain.
Excellent project and program management skills
Comfortable interacting with C-Suite Executives.
You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Predictive Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Mathematics,
MBA with Technical Undergrad, Operations Research, Quantitative Finance, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in Data Science, Six Sigma or related role
5+ years of Experience in management consulting, change management, or Program management.
Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in the above disciplines.
Expertise in Agile Methodology
Experience in business consulting
Experience working with remote and global teams in a matrix organization
Experience in Aerospace Industry
Customer focus and process discipline with excellent collaboration skill.
Results driven with a positive can do attitude
Travel up to 30%
