Senior Network Administrator uses an in-depth knowledge of computer technology
to provide services to end-users and departmental teammates in resolving user
for maintaining integrity in interactions with assigned employees while monitoring the

(A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or three (3)
years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of

years' experience as a full-time FlightSafety International employee, preferred

Basic knowledge of
network troubleshooting connectivity and infrastructure, in
Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain servers/workstations/laptops/mobile devices/network hardware and software products. Communicate complex initiatives to Regional IT Managers and appropriate contacts within designated sites.
Coordinate with local network/pc personnel within the assigned Business Unit to ensure network security and audit procedures are properly implemented and maintained.
Monitor and administer the local network performance and drive space utilization for the site.
Facilitate learning center server data backup and ensure effective storage methods for recovery procedures.
Maintain active directory user accounts and server security permissions within the Business Unit.
Interact with Business Unit Managers, Regional IT Managers, Director of Desktop Project Managers, Operations, and CompuCom Service Delivery Manager on a regular basis, concerning goals and objectives in creating the optimum environment for all internal and external contacts.
Provide information, expertise and guidance to Network/PC and ServiceDesk/Deskside support personnel, working toward common objectives.
Ensure that activities covering implementation and follow-through of server/workstation(s) adhere to accepted standards, policies and procedures set by the Information Technology Operations Group.
Complete other tasks as required.
Provide project direction(s), set priorities and monitor staff achievement.
Direct and/or facilitate departmental staff meetings and oversee distribution of meeting minutes to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate and manage department staffing levels with approval from the Business Unit Manager.
Provide orientation training and training on usage of appropriate software systems, as required of each employee, as needed.
Analyze status of all current projects/plans and keep the Business Unit Manager apprised of any problem areas or issues.
Coordinate departmental personnel matters with Human Resources.
Establish methods by which quality and efficiency is monitored in the department.
Interface with other supervisors/managers, as needed.
