POSITION INFORMATION
 
The Senior Security Solutions Engineer develops and implements solutions that secure our enterprise infrastructure.  This position requires a minimum of 5 years of dedicated and progressive experience designing security solutions and at least 7 years of operational experience supporting infrastructure security controls.

This position requires the application of interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and grow business relationships.   A customer-first focus will be a key to your success and a strong history of achievement working on cross-organizational projects and nurturing both internal and external relationships to resolve issues and develop solutions is critical.    Strong process awareness and the ability to help mature an organization through a cycle of continuous improvement is essential.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration with Enterprise Architects to develop solutions to meet business requirements, including developing RFPs, vendor evaluations, industry research, production evaluation, and proof of concepts
- Evangelizes security program fundamentals across the OSI model and acts as a consultative partner with Enterprise IT and Business teams
- Designs, develops, deploys and act as a point of escalation for a variety of platforms including, endpoint security solutions and controls, identity and access management solutions, CASB solutions, encryption and certificate management solutions, network security platforms and more
- Partners with Security Architecture Team to ensure platform goals and security solutions are designed to meet business strategy and reduce security risk
- Participates in Red Team/Blue Team exercises to test security controls
- Designs and implements security controls that are built and engineered to meet compliance requirements, including internal controls, as well as SOX and PCI controls
- Participates in security incident response activities
- Ensures documentation is created in support of hand off to operations 
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate collection and analysis of technical functional requirements based on customer use cases and business requirements into security design deliverables
- Responsible for leading and creating Identity & Access Management (IAM) including technical delivery of IAM components for authentication, authorization, identity provisioning, role based access control, biometrics, and audit and monitoring solutions 
- Development of detailed design artifacts including design analysis, diagrams, test plans, and low level device configuration documents; ensures the technical accuracy of all designs within the scope of the existing production security infrastructure
- Installation and configuration of enterprise security devices, including network access, application and endpoint security solutions
- Contribute to the continuous process improvement life cycle that drives operational excellence
- Keep full abreast of trends and changing technologies as they relate to the field of Information Security
- Participate in team after hours and on-call rotation as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or other directly related IT field or equivalent Experience required
- Certifications: CEH, CISSP and GIAC certifications preferred 
- 7+ years of operational experience supporting infrastructure security controls required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the following technologies: WAFs, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, File Integrity Monitoring, DLP, IDM/IAM, Encryption required 
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise environments of at least 5000 users required 
- Experience with incident response, recovery and remediation
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI
- Demonstrate understanding of IP protocols at all layers of the OSI and IP Standards
- Ability to work in a highly team focused environment and under pressure
- Prefer experience with Microsoft Excel and Visio
- Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
