Job Description

The position has the responsibility of assisting station management with various administrative duties in the airport such as employee payroll, overtime, medical filing, movement, shift/vacation bidding, attendance, and other general administrative duties such as:

  • Generate and submit required company employee forms when needed
  • Maintain and submit department payroll
  • Maintain the department filing system and accurately file documents within established time frames
  • Organize and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Maintain department manuals and file updates as necessary
  • Complete ad-hoc administrative projects, as requested by department staff/manager
  • Generate organization of administrative office, including answering phone, typing letters, and memos

Job Qualifications

  • High School degree plus a minimum of 2 years work experience in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent typing skills
  • MUST HAVE experience with payroll, work comp reporting, staff scheduling and spreadsheets
  • Must have strong experience and demonstrated ability in creating professional correspondence
  • Advanced Computer skills - Microsoft Office and task specific software. Must have demonstrated ability in the use of Excel
  • Must be self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work on an independent basis
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced, ever changing environment under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work a varied scheduled, including nights, weekend and holidays
