Job Description

The position has the responsibility of assisting station management with various administrative duties in the airport such a as employee payroll, overtime, medical filing, movement, shift/vacation bidding, attendance as well as other general administrative duties.
  • Generates and submits required company employee forms when needed
  • Maintain and submits department payroll
  • Maintain the department filing system; accurately files documents within established time frames
  • Organizes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Maintain department manuals and files updates as necessary
  • Completes ad-hoc administrative projects, as requested by department staff/manager
  • Generates organization of administrative office, including answering phone, typing letters and memos

Job Qualifications

  • High School degree plus a minimum of 2 years work experience in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent typing skills
  • MUST HAVE experience with payroll, work comp reporting, staff scheduling and spreadsheets
  • Must have strong experience and demonstrated ability in creating professional correspondence
  • Advanced Computer skills - Microsoft Office and task specific software.  Must have demonstrated ability in the use of Excel 
  • -Must be self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work on an independent basis
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced, ever changing environment under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work a varied scheduled, including nights, weekend and holidays
