General responsibilities of the position: As a technical support subject matter expert, work with Engineering, Quality and cross-functional IPT’s to drive continuous improvement of reliability and product quality. Will define technical content of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA’s ie technical publications). This person will support shop event and parts sales forecasting used by the network for business planning and development. Will drive Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) initiatives, provide warranty forecasting and lead the development of commercial support programs and campaigns.

Specific responsibilities of position: - Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity.
- Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas.
- May develop and coach others.
- Has expert knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines.
- Provides technical support to assigned OEM’s and operators.
- Leads the assigned OEM aftermarket account management, technical coordination and Rolling Action Item Lists (RAILS) in support of the OEM and their operating fleet.
- Leads the support strategy for specific assigned aftermarket segments for the Auxiliary Power Unit.
- Support OEM technical coordination meetings and operator conferences and presentations.
- Support the customer first center (CFIRST) call center and Field Operations worldwide with back office technical support expertise in support of operators.
- Support marketing in identifying opportunities, responding to proposals and capturing new engine programs. Support assigned strategy teams to actively participate in business innovation and strategic initiatives to improve our APS2300/2600 support structure and service offerings. Working with the other supporting groups in customer service and across the company, coordinate the flawless entry into service of assigned new engine models.

Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years’ experience or Master degree with 4 to 7 years’ experience
- Bilingual (English and French) with strong written, and verbal communication skills.
- Good technical and product (engine) knowledge.
- Strong people skills and communication skills
- Process and results driven
- Team player with good leadership skills
- Autonomous, adaptable and solid business judgment
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Microsoft Office
- SAP (asset)
