Station Supervisor - Orlando, Florida
 
The Station Supervisor will assist in managing various aspects of day-to-day Airport Operations in accordance with Silver Airways policies and federal regulations.   The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hands-on and enjoy working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment. The key to your success will be your leadership, excellent customer service and problem solving skills, drive to succeed, accountability and confidence. This person will report to the Station Manager.

 Summary:           
•Supervise day-to-day activities of the station (various shifts as assigned)
•Lead and develop the skills of team members with the goals of safety procedures and excellent customer service skills
•Engage and recognize external customers
•Communicate effectively to ensure priorities are understood and acted upon, for continuity across shifts
•Compliance with company policies and procedures
•Assist with coordination of team members work schedule as needed
•Track and document attendance related issues
•Identify issues and engage in structured problem solving, coaching and counseling as needed
•Maintain station records and support the Station Manager with reporting functions
•Monitor the Station’s performance, taking actions as necessary, to ensure daily goals are fulfilled

Skills & Requirement
•Must be able to perform well under pressure
•Must effectively interact with all departments
•Must have excellent customer service, problem solving skills and be self-motivated.
•Must be proficient with a PC and have the ability to complete basic level computer functions
•Must have at least two (2) years customer service experience, aviation industry preferred
•Must have at least one (1) year supervisory or team lead experience
•Must have a strong working knowledge of ramp operations
•Other duties as assigned


Physical Requirements

Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read reports
 Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and team members.
Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about department
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources
 Working Conditions: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
