This is a recruitment for a Stock Clerk located in Palmer, Alaska. This is a full time, benefit-eligible position with schedule to be determined. Candidate must be flexible, willing to work weekends or other variable schedule determined by the needs of the department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform basic aircraft parts stockroom duties.
Assist Mechanics when requesting parts
Distribution of requested parts by Mechanics
Issuing of inventory used, verify remaining stock on hand
Use applicable computer software system to receive and issue parts and equipment
Drive company vehicle for pick up and deliveries when needed
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or GED
Punctual and reliable at all times
Strong time management skills with focus on quality
Accuracy and attention to detail mandatory
Have excellent organizational ability with attention to tidiness
Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail required
A team player with the ability to work independently as well as with others
Some knowledge or background in warehouses and automotive parts preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision, must be self-motivated and dependable
Possess a current Alaska Driver’s License with good driving record.
Able to handle heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.; this can be a very physically demanding position. Must be able to stand for hours at a time and lift and bend while handling parts and other large items.
