Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Aircraft Installer (12) for an opening in Hawthorne, CA.

Under the direction of higher classified Aircraft Assembly Mechanics, work in assigned manufacturing production department to learn and perform a variety of structural assembly operations, fastener installation, and inspection duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from engineering drawings, blueprints manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and work sheets and company. and customer specifications and procedures. Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, skins and honeycomb details. Inspect for proper installations and integrity. Approve and stamp acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements. Maintain necessary documentation and records. Refer any unusual problems to supervision. Must adhere to all safety and operational procedures and directives. Keep work area clean and orderly. May be required to perform other related duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 3-5 years of aerospace experience. Must be available to work ANY Shift.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
