Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer (4) for an opening in Canoga Park, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist other analysts and designers engaged with development and production of new and existing liquid rocket engines, propulsion system components and secondary structure.
Perform structural analyses utilizing class hand-calculation methods and finite element models.
Construct and solve static and dynamic finite element models with ANSYS Participate in dynamic test planning and execution.
Correlate structural models to test results.
Interpret analytical results, assess design margins and prepare technical reports.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Must have experience using ANSYS (or Workbench) on Structural Analysis specifically (not fluid analysis).
-Must have recent experience using ANSYS (or Workbench) on Structural Analysis specifically (not fluid analysis).
-Recent college grads are okay with at least some ANSYS experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Aerospace Structural Analysis
Finite Element Analysis
English: Read, Write, and Speak

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-Prefer candidates with stable work histories
-Aerospace or Defense related experience preferred over airframe or aviation experience.

EDUCATION:
-Master's degree strongly preferred.

5/40, Full-Time
