Position Description: 

Develops and documents structural analysis to establish airframe composite parts are airworthy to BCA/FAA requirements. Analyst needs to be proficient in finite element tools such as PATRAN and Abaqus, and highly proficient in BCA tools such as FAMOSS, IAS templates, GK Joint, Book 2, FEADMS, Composite analysis and fuselage analysis. Items that would be helpful to work the tasks would be to have a working knowledge of CATIA version 5, Enovia and BCA Design manuals. Along with documenting their analysis, the analyst will provide designers with initial and final sizing for 787 fuselage composite components in a timely fashion.
Requirements:


Stress Analysis 

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
