St. Louis/ St. Charles Military Aircraft and Commercial Support have immediate needs for Strength Engineers. Company strength engineers guide product design and production by verifying structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle. They work under minimal direction.
The Company St. Louis Commercial Design Center has immediate needs for Strength Engineers supporting 777X airframe design and fabrication. Structural Analysis engineers will perform structural sizing analysis, make design decisions, sign-off final design and support fabrication and assembly.
Company St Louis also has emerging needs for Strength Engineers supporting military product production, design improvements and fleet support. Our Strength team is vital to maintaining flight readiness of premiere fighters like the F-22, F-15, and FA-18 and developing new capabilities.
Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an structural analysis engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in a structural analysis engineering classification.
- Strength Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry is required. - Proficiency with classical stress analysis techniques, finite element modeling, and Durability and Damage Tolerance (D&DT) analysis is strongly preferred. - For a commercial design center assignment, Company Commercial Aircraft development experience is required including familiarity with Company analysis tools. Composites experience is strongly preferred. For a military product assignment, familiarity with PATRAN/NASTRAN is preferred.
