General responsibilities of the position: The candidate will be responsible for analytical and related support to Structural design, stress analysis, lifing, definition and development of assigned components and systems

Specific responsibilities of position: The candidate will carry out finite element analysis of standalone rotating components or assembly of them for temperature, stress, deflection or damage under normal engine operating condition or impact with foreign objects. He will support the product design team in durability assessments of new products as well as aftermarket and production in repair and quality dispositions. He will also support engine development and certification activities, such as specimen and component testing for fatigue and durability.

Qualifications required: -Master’s degree with 3 years relevant experience in heat transfer analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics;
- Ability to perform structural substantiation plan and execution, such as writing RTs and doing data reduction;
-Able to provide technical support to engine development and rig hardware design;
-Strong analytical design planning and execution skills;
-Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures, such as turning and milling as well as of CAD data structures and solid modeling in CATIA;
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
-Willingness to share knowledge and work as a team.
