Supervisor, Information and Seat Selection Centre (ISSC)

The supervisor will assist the Information and Seat Selection Centre personnel and will ensure that optimal customer service standards are met and maintained.

Responsibilities

* Ensure the constant review of policies, procedures, and work methods to improve working conditions;

* Produce reports related to financial activities on a daily, monthly and/or cumulative basis: sales, revenues, operations analysis, sales projections, and other reports relating to the various activities at the Centre;

* Ensure that activities linked with the operation of the Information and Seat Selection Centre meet the Company’s requirements and are in compliance with the collective agreement;

* Ensure the personnel are updated with current policies, procedures, and special promotions;

* Participate actively in the agent recruitment process;

* Ensure that employees maintain the required service levels and achieve the objectives given by the management team;

* Assist in the development/implementation of personnel incentives; conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary issues;

* Participate in Union/Management meetings;

* Be actively involved in projects/meetings to improve the ISSC performance;

* Assist the manager in forecasting, budget planning, and financial performance reviews

Requirements

* Minimum three (3) years in sales in a call centre and/or experience in the tourism industry;

* Bilingualism French and English (written and spoken);

* Supervisory experience, an asset;

* Experience in a unionized environment, an asset;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

* Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to function in a fast paced environment;

* Highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic;

* Ability to motivate and coach personnel;

* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
