In your role, you will:

- Develop the Logistics strategies and action plan for the interior fabrication & installation of the new Global 7000/8000 in order to achieve the expected goals;
- Comply with the operational processes, the employee performance management and development processes, while developing a mobilizing and winning work climate;
- Plan and create in the ERP system the components/parts to insure ordering in the early stages of the Program including components required for Test Rigs and test vehicles using SAP;
- Analyze and optimize the material flow proactively define the inventory plans in line with the Total Value Management concept (TVM)
- Participate in the definition of the factory layout in regards to the stores, consignment areas, material flow and display to the work stations;
- Define Logistics KPIs & governance, ensure proper training and development of team members;
- Participate in the development of the Production Master Schedules ;
- Build and develop of the Logistics team based on the operational needs
- Ensure a strong & continuous alignment with your Logistics peers from Toronto (Global 7000/8000) and with the Global Completion Center (Global 5000 & 6000);
- Develop manufacturing processes and optimize internal and external processes;
- Promote and act as a leader for Achieving Excellence System implementation;
- Respect schedules and business plans associated to the various phases of a program launch
- Ensure the compliance with the Manufacturing Strategy and the achievement of the highest Logistics standards

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- Your hold a bachelor's degree in Administration, Operations Management or five (5) years of relevant experience in Logistics;
- You have superior verbal and written communications sills in French and English to communicate with all organizational levels;
- You have experience in Logistics;
- You have full knowledge of SAP;
- You have a good leadership in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners, in a context of new product industrialization;
- You have capacity to work with concepts and translate them into solid execution plans, good project management skills;
- You are recognized for your leadership, your communication and your coaching skills, for your ability to mobilize and engage a team;
- You have experience in the Aerospace Industry and the understanding of the aircraft and its components would be an asset;
- You have excellent knowledge of MS Office;
- You have flexibility to travel from time to time.
