Today, the fully integrated landing systems we design, test and manufacture help millions of passengers reach their destinations safely. But we aren’t satisfied with today’s success. Our global Landing Systems team is committed to continuous improvement – we work hard to make our solutions lighter-weight, stronger and more technically advanced, so that plane travel can be safer, more affordable and more sustainable in the years to come. We are looking for the best and brightest to fly and land with us!

Primarily support the development and implementation of changes to carbon composite friction disk material for in-production programs, which are typically associated with cost reductions, capacity increases, process improvements, and product upgrades. Position also provides general manufacturing support for our carbon plants including MRB disposition and ECN changes to carbon drawings & specifications. Position will also occasionally supports Customer Support Engineers with field issues.

Individual projects typically include the following:
- Develop and manage technical plans and schedules
- Coordinate activities with other UTAS groups and customers as required.
- Conduct tests, process data, analyze results, and develop conclusions in support of carbon initiatives.
- Effectively communicate to both internal and external suppliers and customers via phone, e-mail, and written documents such as technical plans, updates, and engineering reports.

Qualification:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

* BS and three years' experience or MS degree and one year experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* BS and five years' experience or MS degree and 3 years’ experience
Nothing matters more to UTC Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments. As such, all U.S. positions require a background check, which may include a drug screen.

Education:
* BS or MS in engineering discipline
