Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Company’s technology infrastructure consisting of mission critical systems, customer facing web sites, and custom applications built on the Microsoft product line. Individuals in this role will be responsible for 24/7 support of critical applications and hardware, while also providing preventative maintenance.
Role and Responsibilities
·Install build, troubleshoot, Data Center hardware and infrastructure.
·Manage VMWare environment.
·Provide operational support to the Systems Operations Control Center (SOCC).
·Administer company email.
·Administer company application servers and database servers.
·Administer network and voice over IP (VOIP) telephony system.
·Provide insight to leadership and implement Data Center best practices.
·Participate in technology planning sessions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
·4+ years of implementation of systems-level, middleware and application-level software packages used on multi-user, high end, Microsoft OS Servers. (These software packages include, but are not limited to, the following: Windows Server 2003, 2008, replay/appassure backup, IIS and Cluster Server, disk and file management systems, and custom ERP applications)
·4+ years of design and deploy windows solutions to solve client issues in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
·3+ years of design and managing Microsoft Exchange (Office 365 Enterprise)
·3+ years of design and integration of Microsoft Windows systems with SAN
·1+ year of VM Ware 2.x or greater (Linux a plus)
·1+ year of Microsoft Clustering Technology
·1+ year of Microsoft SharePoint (2007, 2010) and SharePoint services (3.0, +)
·1+ year of Microsoft Reporting Services (2003, 2005)
·1+ year of managing and troubleshooting Active Directory
·Strong understanding of TCPIP networking
·Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics and analytics skills
·Experience documenting systems configurations, processes and procedures
·Proven customer satisfaction/service skills and customer service mentality
·Team oriented, reliable and demonstrated flexibility
·Microsoft certification is a plus
