Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
8 years of professional hands-on experience in design and implementation of the following
technologies: VMware (vSphere and ESXi Management) and Enterprise enclosures and blade servers. The candidate must have full engineering lifecycle experience to support project development. The candidate must have experience with risk management and design engineering within a process oriented environment. The candidate must possess one of the following
certifications: CompTIA Security+ with CE enrollment, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification
(GSEC) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). The candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
Masters Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelors Degree and 8 years of relevant experience or Associates Degree and 12 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma/GED and 15 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline. Strong working knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi Management, HP enterprise blade systems, Microsoft suit of products, and Linux, Citrix Xen Desktop, Citrix NetScaler. Solid understanding of various development life cycles such as the SDLC, SE V, ITIL, etc. Must have strong technical writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.
