Boeing - Oklahoma City is seeking a Level 4 Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will support system engineering projects within the B-1, B-2 and B-52 Bomber programs; or the KC-135 Tanker program; or the Presidential Airlift (VC-25) program; or the E-4B program; or the C-32 and C-40 Executive Transport program; or the KC-46 International Tanker program; or the E-3 Ground Support program.
The Level 4 Systems Engineer applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions; evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces; performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture; performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success; develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes; and resolves cross-functional technical issues. Works under minimal direction.

Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Other Related Skills / Attributes:
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Systems engineering experience in developing proposals for new projects based upon regulatory requirements (FAR, Mil-Spec) is highly desired.
