Boeing is seeking a Systems Engineer (entry level) for the Aircraft Modernization and Modifications, a sub-division of Boeing Defense Systems, is focused on providing our customers with new and enhanced capabilities to their existing fleets.
Some of these fleets of aircraft are decades old. AMM designs system enhancements and added capabilities to keep these customer fleets relative in the current day environments they must operate in. The AMM Systems Engineering activities consist of overall Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Functional Integration/Architecture, Certification, and System Testing/Verification / Validation. Supporting the various Programs within AMM, over multi-year Engineering and Logistics contracts, that enable Government and Commercial customers to keep their aircraft fleets capable and relevant.
* Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
* Assists with analyses to evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
* Assists with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
* Assists with analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Qualifications
Requirements:
* This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
* Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Preferred (Assets):
Experience with DOORS is a plus.
Experience with SysML, OML, or Rational Rhapsody is a plus
Experience in System Engineering, Program Management
