Overview:

This position will be responsible to identify taxable travel events for crewmembers and report to payroll. Answer crewmembers inquiries and make adjustments as needed. Code invoices for payment, reconcile non-income tax accounts and assist in other tax projects.

Responsibilities:

* Identify and capture taxable travel items from direct-billed invoices.
* Review crewmember travel events and assess whether they are taxable.
* Contribute to the accurate recording and updating of taxable travel files.
* Conduct research and resolve Crewmember inquiries.
* Ensure required adjustments are captured and reported to Payroll.
* Escalate taxable travel issues to Senior Manager of Corporate Tax and VP - Corporate Tax.
* Post data for Crewmember review.
* Resolve Crewmember taxable travel inquiries.
* Identify taxable travel events for crewmembers and post for Crewmember review on a monthly basis.
* Research and resolve Crewmember inquiries regarding taxable travel.
* Ensure taxable travel data reported to Payroll is accurate.
* Assist tax department in reconciling tax accounts.
* Assist tax department in various special tax projects, such as imputed income for executives.

Qualifications:

* College Degree – BS (with a specialization in accounting preferred).
* Organized with good communication skills, both written and oral.
* Ability to be attentive to details.
* Solid understanding of the entire taxable travel process.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well with others and independently.
* Self-motivated.
* Ability to meet required deadlines.
* Meets daily attendance & punctuality standard.
* Able to work under tight deadlines and make decisions quickly.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
