The Boeing Company is seeking a Technical Data Designer for the Oklahoma City location.

The ideal candidate within flight manuals, will be using passion and expertise in flying and technical writing to help others soar the skies by:
- Crafting and developing multiple publication elements for flight manuals for fielded equipment minor system or multiple sub systems;
- Collecting, researching analyzing and validating source data based on predefined and developed assumptions;
- Estimating the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements.

Qualifications

Education / Typical Education:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit:
This position requires that you work out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. You must currently reside in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (where relocating would not be required) or be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Required Skills:

*

Flight Crew Experience as a Rated crew member (i.e. pilots, co-pilots, navigator, flight engineer);

*

Experience in reading, reviewing and critiquing Air Force TODs, TCTOs, and Flight Manuals.

Preferred Skills:

*

Experience supporting military commercial derivative aircraft with FAA continued airworthiness;

*

Experience working on commercial or commercial derivative aircraft.
