DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Performance Analytics Intern is to provide continuous support to the entire Technical Operations Performance Analytics Department. This could include, but not limited to areas relating to process mapping, data entry, data binding, code writing, and operational analysis.
Research and analyze data to evaluate unfavorable variances within parameters of project.
Processing data into the systems required for tracking Technical Operations (Maintenance & Engineering) Operational performance.
Preparing data models
Assist with performance analysis.
Support in the development of systems and processes that meet or exceed current contract policies and procedures.
Work with Performance Analyst to translate the business and technical needs based on complied data and identify opportunities for improvement in operations and processes
Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Progress toward undergraduate in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Aviation related field.
Minimum Junior level
To be eligible must be currently enrolled as a full time student (minimum 12 credit hours).
Maintained 2.75 or above cumulative GPA.
Must be able to work for extended periods of time in front of a computer
Possess working knowledge of using Business Intelligence Tools and Data Mining – SAS, Oracle, Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, Hyperion, Infoview, XML, Access, and Java Script.
Classroom and/or industry experience using programming languages SQL, Grails, Java, and/or Groovy preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
Adapts to and uses technology to improve the effectiveness established processes, increase efficiencies, and quickly complete work objectives.
Problem solving ability and strong written/verbal communications skills.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple and concurrent assignments.
Knowledge or experience in the Aviation Industry preferred.
Involvement in organizations, social service, and leadership roles. (i.e. Greek life. service organizations, honors societies, student government, volunteering, etc.)
Works well in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, courteous and compassionate.
