ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an excellent opportunity for a junior-level Technical Writer/Business Process Analyst for the PAX River Data Center (DC) Operations Team. Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years technical writing experience, preferably in an IT environment, and have the ability to work independently, chase issues to-ground, and accomplish assigned tasking within schedule constraints. As part of the team, the Technical Writer/Business Process Analyst will write business processes and associated SOPs, develop workflows, and manage SharePoint content in an IT environment. We are looking for an energetic individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of technical writing. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Work in accordance with NAVAIR and DISA policies and industry best practices; including the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework * Serve as the distributor of processes owned by the DC, enforce proper adhesion to processes when interacting with team members, and educate them when process changes occur that affect their service areas * Periodically train Data Center team members when process changes occur * Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements * Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of technical writing experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience * Capable of writing/developing/editing clean, neat, and professional process documents and document completion guides * Working knowledge of MS Visio to develop workflows * Ability to import and manipulate data from multiple sources using MS Excel * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders in order to extract information needed to complete process documents * Experience utilizing SharePoint (front end) and developing/manipulating SharePoint Nintex workflows is a plus * Willingness to achieve ITIL Foundations certification within 3 months of start; ZENETEX will cover the cost of training materials and test fees Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
