Perform optical fabricating processes including but not limited to: coring, sawing, curve generating, plano generating, beveling, blocking, grinding, polishing, testing, cleaning, assembly and other related and similar duties. Perform simple set ups and operates optical equipment under direct supervision of an Optician I or above.
Read and understand blue prints, and process routings.
Understand TQP principles and participates as requested.
Maintain work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed safety regulations.
Understand and follow ISO procedures.
Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
Specialized training will be determined by manpower requirements and aptitude.

•Aptitude for handling optical components
