Trainer

Description

Summary

A Trainer is a new role to the organization that will be responsible for training personnel on building/inspecting product and following processes. A successful Trainer will have a variety of attributes involving strong communication skills, strong technical aptitude for the area, safety and the ability to train others.

Essential duties and responsibilities

This job description does not imply that these are the only duties performed. Employees occupying this position will be required to follow any other related instructions and to perform any other job related duties requested by their supervisor. Furthermore, this does not establish a contract for employment and is subject to change at the discretion of the employer.

The primary responsibility of a Trainer is to become fully trained in all aspects of manufacturing/inspecting applicable to the assigned area to be able to fully train operators as well as conduct training on changes and enhancements.

Communicating with operators, management, process owners, and other techs.

*

Working with the Supervisor, identifies training needs and conducts the training activities in responsible area(s)/department(s).

*

Ensures all process related steps are completed with proper verification; electronic or manual signatures during the training period.

*

Working with the Technicians, communicates opportunities of continuous improvement.

*

Works with supervisor of the department to address workmanship issues.

*

Ensures all parts are being handled according to the manufacturing instructions or WI.

*

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Previous demonstrated training experience preferred but not required.
