Basic Purpose of Position:

The main purpose of this position is to investigate processes and payments to uncover opportunities to fast track and optimize Ariba deployment. The Analyst must understand the nature of financial transactions, contracts and business relationships with suppliers and key Jazz personnel who work with and maintain supplier relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reviewing contract details (if supplier is under contract).

* Reviewing pricing agreements.

* Reviewing invoices.

* Reviewing Approval for Commitment (AFC) details (if applicable).

* Reviewing internal business processes for each supplier.

*

Reviewing the nature of the transactions to identify compliance or non-compliance with accepted Jazz processes.

* Assembling the data gathered and payments made and compare to contract terms and conditions.

*

Preparing supplier recommendation package.

*

Recommending the appropriate Ariba business process for suppliers.

*

Assist in coordinating activities with current Jazz resources for supplier enablement, training, CIF building, etc.

*

Build content in Ariba P2P program.

*

Track and categorize findings.

*

Other related duties as assigned.

*

Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications:

*

University Degree or College Diploma is required.

*

3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and business processes.

*

Experience with administering/ensuring contract requirements are adhered to is an asset.

*

Capable of reviewing and interpreting contracts, invoices, and related information.

*

Must be proficient with analyzing and organizing information.

*

Previous experience in documenting and reporting processes is an asset.

*

Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

*

Great communication skills.

*

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

* Experience using Accounting and Procurement Systems is required.
