The Treasury Ops Analyst role is an integral part of the department responsible for managing daily banking activities as well as providing support to the cash accountant and treasury manager. The treasury department is a high exposure component of the corporate finance area of the company, and various ad hoc projects are frequently assigned in areas such as forecasting, financial analysis, hedging, and other similar areas.

The Treasury Ops Analyst must have experience in payments including, but not limited to, wires, ACH and check methods and be familiar with their function and best use. The analyst must also work closely with other departments such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue management and accounting to assist in research and reconciliation in addition to working closely with banks and credit card processors on exception items.

The analyst will function as a backup to the Treasury Manager and cash accountant and will be responsible for inputting/releasing wires, creating/approval of journal entries, updating the daily cash summary and cash position, preparing the cash forecast, and assisting in various projects as necessary.

 

20% - daily cash duties: reconciling prior day bank activity

20% - updating daily cash position and daily cash summary

20% - inputting or releasing payments (ACH and wires)

20% - compiling cash forecast

10% - meetings and updates

10% - projects and special requests

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in treasury operations
  • Experience in treasury, financial accounting, financial analysis, planning, forecasting and/or management reporting
  • Airline accounting/finance experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Word
  • Desire and willingness to work within a team structure
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Function well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to work with strict confidentiality

Senior Treasury Operations Analyst

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in treasury operations
  • Experience in treasury, financial accounting, financial analysis, planning, forecasting and/or management reporting
  • CTP preferred
  • Airline accounting/finance experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Word
  • Desire and willingness to work within a team structure
  • Strong organizational skills
