General responsibilities of the position: Pratt & Whitney’s Engine Services organization of its Commercial Engines business is seeking a V2500 resident center manager for the MTU Canada Maintenance Operations Center (MTU-C). This is an exciting career opportunity which will include leadership of a cross-functional aftermarket team responsible for execution of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) engine shop visit requirements within the MTU-C facility servicing Pratt & Whitney and International Aero Engines (IAE) products.
Specific responsibilities of position: Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
? Ensuring the MRO facility satisfies established requirements for the overhaul of V2500 engines under a fleet management program (FMP).
? Resolving obstacles to on-time delivery of repair supplies and assuming a leadership role in coordinating between the maintenance center and Pratt & Whitney functional organizations to execute tasks according to schedule.
? Providing guidance to support capacity planning of shop visits under Engine Services FMP agreements.
? Working with the Engine Services cost management team to execute commercial strategy for cost reduction.
? Executing material strategy in support of MRO shop visits.
? Tracking key performance indicators that align to FMP contract requirements.
Qualifications required: Educations / Certifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience including project and/or operations management
Master’s or other advanced degree in a business or technical field of study with 5+ years of relevant work experience including project and/or operations management
Field of studies: Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering
